In addition to our FA practice, our firm places brokerage management at the Branch and Sales Manager levels on both a contingency and retained basis. Most of our placements in this area are passive candidates generally unavailable to the broader market.

 

Branch Manager

Branch Managers are non-producing executives focused on hiring, operations, compliance and general business development.

Each brokerage and region has unique requirements and preferences for its branch managers. Typically, the requirements include:

  • Previous sales or branch management experience.
  • Previous Wirehouse experience as a producer or manager.
  • An active Series 24 license and a spotless U4 compliance record.

Sales Manager

Producing Sales Managers are senior advisors that spend part of their time developing and mentoring a team of sales professionals. This is typically a career-track position towards branch management. Postions pay full commissions on personal production plus override/bonuses on the production of your team. The split of time between personal production and sales management depends on the needs of the branch and the demands of your book.

Requirements include:

  • Production experience at the Wirehouse level.
  • Trailing 12 production in excess of $350,000.
  • A significant portable book of business.
